Prop H8 Rally in Denver

What a great day in the Mile High City. I went to the rally against Prop 8 with my neighbor Wendy. The speechifying went on a little long, but the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus sang. The sound system was a little to wimpy and we couldn’t really hear the speakers. After an hour of so we went across the street to the park and sat on the lawn. Then we marched down the 16th Street Mall to the D&F Tower and back to the Civic Center. It was great. We were four blocks long!!! Brought traffic to a standstill and everything!
This evening, my friend Tom took me to the Boettcher Concert Hall to see Charlie Chaplin’s “City Lights” with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra playing the score. It was incredible.
After the concert/movie we went to BJ’s Carousel and watched the drag show for awhile. It doesn’t get any better than this.
