I AM FUCKING NUMB

I was clubbed over the head today by a homophobic remark from a co-worker that I admire.  Stunned.  My co-worker was not aware that I was sitting at my desk.  Here's how the conversation went:

Co-worker:  Where's the drama queen?

Supervisor:  Which one?

Co-worker:  The one next to me.  Sometimes he shows up at 6:05 AM

After that it got silent.  Maybe they figured out that I was in my cube.

They are both African American.

I'm confused and hurt.
