The white house at the top of this picture was my home in Vilcabamba, Ecuador at the Hostel Madre Tierra. It was a hike and a half to get up there, but what a commanding view! I miss it. The house was built of horseshit bricks and had a thatched roof. It leaked, but I knew where.
